Helmets are produced from the plate with thickness 1,2 – 1,5mm. That is enought for the safety of todays swordsman head. Sometimes we can meet with the demand of production of helmet with thickness 2mm or 3mm – but it totally insane. We are able to produce such kind of helmet but tell us who sould wear this. The weight of that helmet would multiple exceeded the weight of original. For the comparison – original helmets were usually produced from material with thickness 0,8mm. And they had also the sharp weapons – we have only blunt ones. One more think to mention about the production of helmets. It is padding inside the helmet. We produce (allmost) all the helmets with leather padding but nevertheless we recommend to wear the cap inside. Only by this way you can reach the perfect condition of wearing of the helmets. For the imagination you can see here the orignal padding under the tournament helmet (it was weared extra, it is not part of helmet).
